Abstract
In order to explore the possible role of cartilage matrix components type II and type X collagen in the endochondral osteogenesis process, the growth dynamics of calcium phosphate crystals were studied in the presence of type II or type X collagen using bone matrix type I collagen as seed crystals. Chemical process. The solid-phase product hydroxyapatite (HAP) was analyzed by FT-IR method. The results showed that the presence of type II or type X collagen inhibited the growth rate of calcium phosphate on the surface of type I collagen, and type X collagen inhibited the growth rate of calcium phosphate on the surface of type I collagen. The inhibitory effect is greater than that of type II collagen. In the presence of type II collagen, the reaction order was measured to be 4. This indicates that the cartilage matrix II and type X collagen may accumulate calcium ions during the biomineralization process of endochondral osteogenesis. It has no effect on the crystal growth mechanism and mineralization products.
