Abstract
The cause of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis is unknown, and the median survival time is only about 3 years. Lung transplantation is currently the only method that is expected to provide long-term survival. Since some research conclusions are difficult to obtain from clinical patients, pulmonary fibrosis animal models have become a powerful tool for studying human idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (1). In the early 1970s, Snider et al. (2) successfully used bleomycin to create a model for the first time. Since the pathological characteristics of this model are very similar to human idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, it has become a recognized model at home and abroad for studying human pulmonary fibrosis. ized animal models.
