Construction Of Tissue Engineering Cartilage Scaffold Using High Concentration Type Ii Collagen

Abstract
Objective To construct a cartilage tissue engineering sponge scaffold that is beneficial to seed cell adhesion, proliferation and differentiation. Methods: Based on the main components of natural cartilage, hyaline cartilage type II collagen was extracted. The extracted collagen was concentrated by high-speed centrifugation and vacuum freeze-dried to prepare a sponge scaffold material. The chemical cross-linking agent EDC/NHS was used for chemical cross-linking. Relevant detection was carried out using histochemical staining, in vitro degradation experiments, scanning electron microscopy and static culture of seeded cells. Results The scaffold had a good pore structure, with a pore diameter of 40-130 ¦Ìm and a porosity of more than 90%. Cells proliferated and differentiated well on the scaffold. Conclusion The constructed high-concentration type II collagen sponge scaffold has good biocompatibility and has good application prospects.
