Prognosis Of Collagen Fibers With Spicule Sign In Breast Tumors
Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship between the degree of collagen fiber proliferation and prognostic factors in the ultrasound spiculation sign of breast cancer. Methods 60 cases of breast cancer confirmed by pathology were collected. Preoperative ultrasound examination confirmed the burr sign around the mass, and puncture biopsy was performed at the burr area under ultrasound guidance. According to the degree of collagen fiber tissue hyperplasia, they were divided into mild, moderate and mild collagen fiber tissue. Severe hyperplasia. To analyze the relationship between the degree of collagen fiber tissue proliferation and prognostic factors (cancer size, histological grade, lymph node metastasis and immunohistochemical molecular marker expression) in the ultrasound spicule sign of breast cancer. Results: There were statistically significant differences in histological grade, cancer focus size, and lymph node metastasis among patients with mild, moderate and severe hyperplasia of collagen fiber tissue in breast cancer spicules (P all <0.05); patients with severe hyperplasia had lower tumor histological grades than Patients with higher tumors, larger tumors, and lymph node metastases are more common. There were statistically significant differences in the expression of estrogen receptor (ER) and human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER-2/neu) between patients with mild, moderate and severe hyperplasia of fibrous tissue in breast cancer spicules (P all <0.05), patients with severe hyperplasia have low expression of ER and high expression of HER-2/neu; while the expression differences of progesterone receptor (PR) and Ki-67 are statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusion The degree of collagen fiber proliferation in breast cancer burrs is closely related to the prognosis. Severe collagen fiber proliferation indicates a poor prognosis of breast cancer.
