Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of oral administration of marine fish skin collagen peptide on human skin moisture and facial chloasma. Methods: 100 people aged 30 to 65 years old with skin moisture ¡Ü12 and 100 people aged 18 to 65 years old with chloasma on the face were selected and randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group (50 people each) for improvement. Skin moisture test, chloasma removal test. The subjects consumed 2.7g of marine fish skin collagen peptide every day for 30 days. Before and after the test, the skin moisture, the area and color of facial chloasma were measured, the subjects’ changes in discomfort symptoms such as fatigue, irritability, sleep, and dryness were investigated, and blood routine, urinary and fecal routine, and blood biochemical indicators were measured. Results After oral administration of marine fish skin collagen peptide in patients with dry skin, the skin moisture increased from (7.48¡À2.39) to (8.68¡À3.15), which was significantly improved (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01); but has no effect on skin oil and pH value (P>0.05). After people with chloasma on the face took marine fish skin collagen peptide orally, the color chart value of chloasma was reduced by (0.35¡À0.38) degrees on average, and the area of chloasma was reduced by (4.70¡À8.01) cm2 on average. Compared with before the test, both indicators had significant changes (P<0.01); compared with the control group, the differences in the two indicators were statistically significant (P<0.05). In both groups of trials, the subjects' discomfort symptoms such as fatigue, irritability, sleep, and dryness were significantly improved; there were no obvious abnormalities in blood routine, urine routine, and blood biochemical test results, and no allergic reactions were found. Conclusion Oral administration of marine fish skin collagen peptide can improve skin moisture and remove facial chloasma, and can help improve symptoms of fatigue, irritability, sleep, dryness and other discomforts.
