Abstract
Using the (001) crystal plane of mica crystal as the matrix and the natural type I rat tail collagen monomer solution as the raw material, the “bottom-up” self-assembly process of the protein monomers guided by the matrix and the atomic force were investigated. The microscope probe performs a “top-down” processing process on the protein film layer adsorbed on the surface of the matrix: (1) Both preparation methods can process collagen nanowire arrays with precise and controllable structures; (2) “Bottom-down” The “top-down” preparation approach utilizes the “reverse-phase biomineralization” principle in which protein monomers and matrix crystals recognize and standardize each other at the interface; (3) “top-down” processing utilizes probes in the contact mode of an atomic force microscope.
