Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of absorbable collagen membrane guiding bone tissue regeneration around immediately implanted implants. Methods A 3 mm ¡Á 3 mm ¡Á 5 mm bone defect area was formed in the mesial area of the fresh extraction wounds of the 3rd and 4th mandibular premolars of 12 adult mutt dogs, and a bone defect area of 3 mm ¡Á 3 mm ¡Á 5 mm was formed in the mandibular 3rd and 4th premolars of 12 adult dogs. The right side was the experimental side and the bone defect was The area is covered with Co film; the left side is the blank control side, and the bone defect area is not covered with Co film. A group of animals were sacrificed at 1, 2, 4, and 6 months after surgery, and the mandibles were removed, and defects were detected using methods such as gross observation, X-ray photography, histological observation, scanning electron microscopy, and biomechanical (pull-out test) measurements. bone tissue regeneration. Results: The bone defect area around the implant on the experimental side had more new bone formation, better appearance, and earlier bone maturity than the control side, which accelerated the regeneration process of bone tissue. Conclusion Absorbable collagen membrane has good biocompatibility and degradability and can be used as a bone tissue guided regeneration membrane to promote the regeneration and repair of bone defects. Its promoting effect is mainly manifested in the early stage of bone tissue healing.
