Abstract
Taking advantage of the specific adsorption characteristics of lectin molecules for sugars and adsorption of polysaccharide components in the endotoxin structure, an adsorption system for lectin to remove endotoxins from collagen solutions was established. Silica glass is acid-etched and then aminated with aminosilane, and then lectin is grafted onto it. The results show that the adsorption rates of 1, 2 and 5g/L lectins for endotoxins in collagen solutions are all greater than 99%; 30 grafted lectin glass spheres can remove endotoxins from 8.4mL of collagen solution (concentration: 2g/L). Toxins (removal rate greater than 99%). In the future, grafted lectin glass spheres can be filled inside the column, and the column separation method can be used to remove endotoxins from collagen solutions, thereby establishing an effective, simple-to-operate, and low-cost device for removing endotoxins from collagen solutions.
