Abstract
¡¾¡¿Objective to compare the expression of collagen, matrix metalloproteinase (mmp)-2, mmp-9 and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase (timp)-1, timp-2 in the transversalis fascia and serum of patients with direct inguinal hernia and indirect hernia. To explore the pathogenesis of direct inguinal hernia. Methods The masson method was used to detect the expression of collagen in the transversalis fascia of patients who underwent hernia repair in our hospital (19 cases of direct hernia and 27 cases of indirect hernia). The expression of mmps and timps in the transversalis fascia was compared with the westernblot method. At the same time, elisa was used Method to measure serum mmps and timps. Results: The collagen arrangement of the transversalis fascia in patients with direct hernia was disordered. Compared with patients with direct hernia, the collagen of the transversalis fascia in patients with indirect hernia is more neatly arranged and continuously distributed. The collagen content of the transversalis fascia in patients with direct hernia was significantly lower than that in patients with indirect hernia (p<0.05), and the mmp-2 content in the transversalis fascia and serum was significantly higher than that in patients with indirect hernia ((p<0.05), timp-2 and timp-1 The content was significantly lower than that in patients with indirect hernia (p<0.05). Conclusion? Abnormal changes in mmp-2, timp-2, and timp-1 leading to changes in the extracellular matrix components may be one of the reasons for the occurrence of different types of inguinal hernia.
