Abstract
Objective Based on the principle of bionics, type-II collagen (CoII), chondroitinsulfate (CS), hyaluronan (HA) and polyvinylalcohol (PA) are used to prepare tissue engineering scaffolds Material. Methods Based on the main components of normal human articular cartilage extracellular matrix, type II collagen, chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid; the polymer PVA was added to improve the strength of the scaffold, freeze-drying and other techniques were used to prepare the composite scaffold, and the cells were inoculated and statically cultured in vitro for 7 days. The scaffolds were tested through mechanical testing, scanning electron microscopy, and tissue staining. Results: The pores of the scaffold were uniform, with a porosity of 93% to 95%. The maximum tension of the CoII-CS-HA-PVA composite scaffold was about 1.19N, and that of the simple CoII-CS-HA composite scaffold was about 0.55N. The difference was statistically significant (t =4.985, P=0.002), the cells were evenly distributed on the scaffold and had strong vitality. Conclusion The CoII-CS-HA-PVA composite scaffold has good biocompatibility, can provide a suitable environment for seed cell proliferation and differentiation, and has good clinical application prospects.
