Abstract
A new Pd-Ni/CF-EGCG catalyst was prepared by grafting epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) on collagen fiber (CF) as a carrier. EGCG, as a “bridge molecule”, plays a role in dispersing and dispersing Pd-Ni nanoparticles. Anchoring effect. The catalyst was characterized by thermogravimetric analysis, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The results showed that the catalyst had a regular fiber structure and formed a highly dispersed fiber on the fiber surface. Pd-Ni alloy particles with an average particle size of 2.2nm. The results of the liquid phase nitrobenzene catalytic hydrogenation reaction show that when the Ni and Pd molar ratio is 0.8, the Pd-Ni/CF-EGCG catalyst has the best bimetallic synergy. Under the hydrogen pressure of 308K and 1.0MPa, the hydrogenation rate reaches 237min?1, which is 1 times faster than single metal Pd/CF-EGCG. It still has high catalytic activity after being reused five times.
