Abstract
Objective: To explore the effect of Zedoary Zedoary Oil on the expression of collagen and cathepsin D and K in A549 cells. Methods: Different concentrations of zedoary zedoary oil (0, 40, 80, 120 mg¡¤L-1) were used to act on A549 cells, and the dynamic changes of zedoary zedoary oil on collagen secretion in the A549 cell layer were observed using picric acid Sirius red staining method; the soluble collagen in the cells was measured by enzymatic method. Secretion of hydroxyproline; Westernblot detection of CatD and CatK expression. Results: After zedoary zedoary oil stimulated cells, the collagen content secreted by A549 cells decreased with the increase of dose and action time. The expression of CatD and CatK proteins increased with the duration of the action. Conclusion: Curcuma zedoary oil reduces collagen deposition in lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells, and its mechanism may be related to up-regulating the expression of CatD and CatK proteins.
