Abstract
Improving the carcass lean meat rate of commercial pigs is one of the important goals in pig production. The improvement of lean meat rate depends on the growth of skeletal muscle. In order to study the mechanism of various regulatory substances on the growth of pig skeletal muscle, it is necessary to establish the In vitro culture method of skeletal muscle satellite cells. This experiment used collagenase digestion method to isolate skeletal muscle satellite cells from porcine semimembranous muscle, and established a culture method of porcine skeletal muscle satellite cells. 1 Materials and methods 1.1 Materials Test animals were used for 1 day Aged piglets (provided by the breeding farm of South China Agricultural University).
