Abstract
Abstract Objective To explore the effects of different replication levels of hepatitis B virus on the progression of liver fibrosis. Methods 173 patients were divided into 6 groups: 3 groups with mild, moderate, and severe chronic hepatitis, and 3 groups with Child-Pugh Class A, B, and C cirrhosis. Radioimmunoassay was used to determine the serum leukocytes of patients with chronic hepatitis B and cirrhosis. Interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8), type ¢ó procollagen (P¢óP), type ¢ô collagen (c-¢ô) content, and at the same time determine HBV-DVA, according to positive and negative Compare different groups. Results: Serum IL-6, IL-8, P¢óP and c-IV levels were compared when HBV-DNA (+) and HBV-DNA (-), except in the mild hepatitis group and the liver cirrhosis C grade group, there was no significant difference. Except for the difference (P>0.05), the other four groups were all statistically significant, with the severe group and grade A group being significant (P<0.01). Conclusion Active replication of hepatitis B virus can aggravate liver damage and promote the activation and continuation of hepatic stellate cells (HSC), thus playing an important role in the initiation and continued development of liver fibrosis.
