Abstract
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Danshen Dropping Pills on dimethylnitrosamine-induced liver fibrosis in rats. Methods Except for the control group, other rats were treated with ip dimethylnitrosamine for 4 weeks to induce liver fibrosis. After the modeling was completed, ig Danshen Dropping Pills were given at 175, 350 and 700 mg/kg. Fuzheng Huayu Capsules were set as The positive control group (1 500 mg/kg), the control group and the model group were given the same volume of distilled water, once a day, for 4 consecutive weeks. The animals were killed 1 hour after the last administration, and serum biochemistry (ALT, AST activity and TP, ALB, TBIL content), serum collagen (HA, LN, type III procollagen, type IV collagen) levels, liver tissue protein, and Hyp content. The liver tissue was fixed, HE and Masson stained, and the hepatocyte tissue structure and liver fibrosis degree were observed under the microscope. Results: Danshen Dropping Pills can significantly increase the levels of TP and ALB in serum, and reduce the levels of ALT, AST activity and TBIL; it can significantly reduce the content of LN and type ¢ô collagen, significantly reduce the HA content, and has a certain downward trend in the content of type ¢ó procollagen; Liver homogenate testing showed that it can significantly increase the protein content in liver tissue, and has a certain decreasing trend in Hyp content; HE staining and Masson staining of liver histopathology showed that Danshen Dropping Pills can improve diffuse hepatocyte degeneration, necrosis and inflammatory reaction. It can significantly inhibit collagen proliferation and reduce the degree of liver fibrosis. Conclusion Danshen Dropping Pills can significantly improve the liver function of rats, reduce the proliferation of liver tissue fibers, and have a certain therapeutic effect on dimethylnitrosamine-induced liver fibrosis in rats.
