Abstract
Abstract Using 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide/N-hydroxysuccinimide (EDC/NHS) as a catalyst, dopamine was connected to oxidized sodium alginate through amidation reaction On the above, oxidized sodium alginate (COA) containing catechol structure was prepared, and COA was combined with collagen (COL) to prepare a COA-COL hydrogel with adhesive properties. Through ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis) ), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H NMR) were used to characterize the structure of COA. Scanning electron microscopy, in vitro swelling degradation, universal electronic tensile machine and thiazole blue (MTT) method were used to characterize COA. -The morphology structure, equilibrium swelling rate, degradation rate, adhesive strength and cytotoxicity of COL hydrogel. The research results show that dopamine has been introduced to oxidized sodium alginate, and the substitution degrees are 12.5%, 18% and 22% respectively; A typical sponge porous network structure is formed inside the COA-COL hydrogel. The equilibrium swelling rate first decreases and then increases as the degree of substitution of dopamine increases. The degradation rate decreases with the increase of the degree of substitution. COA- The adhesive strength of COL hydrogel increased from (20.43¡À4.21) kPa without dopamine modification to (29.91¡À6.10) kPa when the dopamine substitution degree was 22%, and it has good biocompatibility.
