Abstract
Objective: To determine the antigenicity of tilapia skin type ¢ñ collagen and provide basis for further research on the biocompatibility of tilapia skin type ¢ñ collagen. Methods: Sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) was used to identify the isolated and extracted tilapia skin collagen, and ICR mice were immunized three times. Enzymelinked immune sorbent assay (ELISA) was used to measure the total collagen antibodies produced by the mice on the 7th day after each immunization, and the immunoglobulin G (immunoglobulin) in the mouse serum was measured on the 21st day. G, IgG), immunoglobulin A (IgA) and immunoglobulin M (IgM) content. Results: The tilapia skin collagen sample was type I collagen. All mice immunized with tilapia skin type I collagen produced antibodies. After three immunizations, the mass concentration of tilapia skin type I collagen antibodies ranged from 160.50 to 164.25 ¦Ìg/L.
