Abstract
Describes the assembly process of a special collagen substance, that is, fibrous long-distance collagen formed by adding ¦Á1-acid glycoprotein. The pH value of the mixture of collagen solution and ¦Á1-acid glycoprotein is changed through dialysis. At different pH values Atomic force microscopy (AFM) was used at each stage to identify stable intermediate structures and obtain reliable and high-resolution sample images. The morphology and diameter of the intermediate fibers at each stage were thus observed. The results showed that there are obvious differences in the formation of long-distance collagen in fibers. of intermediates.
