Abstract
Abstract: Objective To observe the changes in hydroxyproline content in tissue after rat skin wounds were irradiated by different doses of short-wave ultraviolet rays, and to explore the effect of ultraviolet irradiation on collagen synthesis. Methods 30 Wistar male rats were used to establish an animal model of fresh wounds irradiated by short-wave ultraviolet rays. Three round full-thickness skin wounds with a diameter of 2cm were made on the neck and back of each rat, and two of them received 15MED (15mJ/cm2) respectively. and 60MED (60mJ/cm2) short-wave ultraviolet irradiation, and the other one was used as a control and did not receive irradiation, and then chemical methods were used to detect changes in hydroxyproline content in the wound granulation tissue. Results: The hydroxyproline content of 15MED irradiated wounds was higher than that of the control at 21-28 days after irradiation (P<0.05); the hydroxyproline content of 60MED irradiated wounds was significantly increased at 28 days, which was similar to the difference between the 15MED irradiated wounds and the control. Highly significant (P<0.01). Conclusion Short-wave ultraviolet irradiation can promote the synthesis of hydroxyproline in wounds, thereby increasing collagen content and promoting wound healing; 60MED short-wave ultraviolet irradiation has a stronger effect than 15MED For further information of this article and research, feel free to contact our team for asssitance.
