Abstract
Abstract: Objective To explore the effects of serum total bone type I procollagen amino-terminal extension peptide (total-p1np), type I collagen carboxyl telopeptide beta special sequence (¦Â-ctx), and 25(oh)d3 in elderly people with hip fragility fractures. the value of. Methods 68 elderly osteoporosis patients with a history of hip fragility fracture were collected. At the same time, 68 age- and gender-matched elderly patients with confirmed osteoporosis and no history of hip fragility fracture were set up as controls. The serum total- p1np, ¦Â-ctx, 25(oh)d3; dual-energy x-ray absorption method was used to determine lumbar spine and hip bone mineral density (bmd); spss16.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis. Results (1) The total-p1np and ¦Â-ctx of patients in the hip fragility fracture group were higher than those of the control group, and the 25 (oh) d3 was lower than that of the control group. The difference between the groups was statistically significant (p<0.05); the lumbar spine between the two groups There was no statistical difference between mean bmd and total hip bmd; (2) Bivariate correlation analysis found that in the hip fragility fracture group, 25 (oh) d3 was positively correlated with lumbar mean bmd and total hip bmd, total-p1np, ¦Â-ctx was negatively correlated with lumbar spine mean bmd and total hip bmd (p<0.05); in the control group, 25 (oh) d3 had no correlation with lumbar spine mean bmd and total hip bmd, total-p1np, ¦Â-ctx and There was no correlation between the mean bmd of the lumbar spine and a negative correlation with the total hip bmd (p<0.05). Conclusion In elderly osteoporosis patients with similar bmd levels, increases in total-p1np and ¦Â-ctx and decreases in 25(oh)d3 may independently predict an increased risk of hip fragility fractures. The detection of these three indicators is It is helpful to identify people at high risk of hip fragility fracture and guide treatment.
