Abstract
Collagen synthesis is significantly increased in proliferative scar tissue, leading to excessive collagen deposition. Using ribozymes to specifically inhibit the expression of procollagen genes can reduce collagen synthesis, providing new ideas for the research and prevention of scars. In order to study the possibility and effect of using ribozymes to inhibit the expression of procollagen genes, we designed and constructed the eukaryotic expression of two monovalent ribozymes in tandem for the ¦Á1(¢ñ) and ¦Á1(¢ó) procollagen genes. vector and study its in vitro cleavage activity. The results show that the cleavage effect of the dual ribozyme is obvious, and both can effectively cleave the substrate, laying the foundation for further research on the inhibitory effect of ribozymes on procollagen gene expression and the use of ribozymes to prevent and treat scar formation. ª£
