Abstract
Heavy metal ions are widely present in wastewater discharged from metallurgy, electroplating, tanning and other industries. Researchers have been committed to the development of efficient adsorption materials for heavy metal ions for many years. Based on the latest domestic and foreign research literature, this article systematically discusses biomass adsorption materials. The adsorption properties of modified products of biomass adsorption materials and new polymers were compared, and the advantages and disadvantages of various adsorbents were compared. It is pointed out that the collagen fibers obtained by treating the waste leather scraps produced by tanning are chemically modified to improve their adsorption properties, and the raw materials come from a wide range of sources. Applying it to the treatment of wastewater containing heavy metal ions can achieve the purpose of treating pollution with waste.
