Dyeing Thermodynamic Properties Of Collagen-Modified Acrylic Fiber

Abstract
Scanning electron microscopy was used to analyze the morphological structure of collagen-modified acrylic fibers. The cationic dye red X-GRL was used to study the dyeing thermodynamics of collagen-modified acrylic fiber. The dyeing adsorption isotherm was drawn and the dyeing affinity, dyeing heat and heat of the cationic dye red X-GRL on the collagen-modified acrylic fiber were calculated. The dyeing entropy was compared with the thermodynamic parameters of acrylic fiber dyeing. The results show that the adsorption isotherms of cationic dye red X-GRL on collagen-modified acrylic fiber and acrylic fiber are both Langmuir type, and the adsorption mechanism is single layer, positioning, and chemical adsorption. Modified acrylic fibers are bound by Coulomb force; the dyeing affinity of cationic dye red X-GRL to collagen-modified acrylic fibers, as well as the absolute values of dyeing heat and dyeing entropy are lower than those of acrylic fibers. The research results can provide a reference for determining the dyeing and finishing process of collagen-modified acrylic fiber.
