Abstract
? In order to explore the effects and related mechanisms of Luying, a commonly used Chinese herbal medicine for fractures, on osteoblasts. Taking the effect of chlorogenic acid (cha) extracted from Phytophthora chinensis on osteoblasts as a research model, primary osteoblasts were obtained through extraction and purification, and through cell viability observation, histochemical staining and fluorescence quantitative PCR detection technology, After cha acted on osteoblasts, osteoblast activity and cha’s effect on osteoblast growth and gene expression of type I collagen and osteocalcin were detected. The results showed that 10 ¦Ìmol/l and 100 ¦Ìmol/lcha could promote the formation of osteoblast calcified nodules and promote the continued growth of type I collagen gene; on the 3rd day of culture, cha had a promoting effect on the expression of osteocalcin. Luying’s active ingredient, chlorogenic acid, can significantly enhance the expression of type I collagen and osteocalcin genes in osteoblasts, synthesize and secrete bone matrix, and has certain osteogenic activity.
