Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of Tengberry Decoction on peroxisome proliferator activated receptor gamma (PPAR¦Ã) and nuclear transcription factor-¦ÊB in the synovial membrane of rats with collagen-induced arthritis (CIA). (nuclear factor kappa B, NF-¦ÊB) and IL-17 expression, and explore the molecular mechanism of this prescription in inhibiting the pathological damage of synovial immune inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Methods A SD rat CIA model was established, and the model rats were randomly divided into a model group, a Western medicine group, a high-dose Chinese medicine group, a low-dose Chinese medicine group, and a normal group with 6 rats in each group. The normal group and the model group were given deionized water 10 mL/(kg?d) by gavage, the Western medicine group was given leflunomide 1.87 mg/(kg?d) by gavage, and the high-dose and low-dose traditional Chinese medicine groups were given Tengberry Decoction crude drug respectively. The dosage was 31.8, ª©15.9 g/(kg¡¤d) by intragastric administration, and ªªcontinuous intervention was carried out for 12 weeks. After the intervention, the protein and mRNA expressions of PPAR¦Ã, P65, and IL-17 were detected. Results Compared with the normal group, the expression of PPAR¦Ã, P65, and IL-17 mRNA and protein in the model group were increased (P<0.01). Compared with the model group, the expression of PPAR¦Ã protein in the high-dose traditional Chinese medicine group was up-regulated, and the expression of P65 and IL-17 mRNA and protein were down-regulated, with statistically significant differences (P<0.01). The expression of P65 and IL-17 mRNA and protein were down-regulated, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). ª©Conclusionªª Tengberry Decoction can improve the pathological damage of joint synovium in CIA rats and inhibit the expression of immune inflammatory factors For further information of this article and research, feel free to contact our team for asssitance.
