Abstract
Objective To detect the changes in the level of type I collagen carboxyl terminal peptide (ictp) in the serum of patients with coronary heart disease, explore its correlation with mmp-2 and mmp-9, and its clinical significance in coronary heart disease. Methods 103 patients with coronary heart disease who were outpatients or inpatients in our hospital from October 2013 to March 2014 were included, including 39 patients with stable angina pectoris (sap), 39 patients with unstable angina pectoris (ua), and patients with acute myocardial infarction ( ami) 25 patients, and 38 non-coronary heart disease patients were selected as the control group (control, c). 5 ml of venous blood was collected from the research subjects, and the levels of venous serum (matrix metalloprotein-2), mmp-9, and ictp were detected using a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). One-way analysis of variance was used for comparison between groups. Results Compared with group C, serum mmp-2, mmp-9, and ictp levels were slightly higher in sap, p>0.05. Compared with the sap group and the c group, the serum mmp-2, mmp-9, and ictp levels of the ua group were increased, p<0.05. Compared with sap group and c group, serum mmp-2, mmp-9, and ictp were increased in the ami group, p<0.05. Compared with the ua group, there was no significant difference in serum mmp-2, mmp-9, and ictp, p>0.05. There is a positive correlation between ictp and mmp-2 and mmp-9 (p<0.05); it is negatively correlated with the proportion of plaque fiber composition and positively correlated with the proportion of lipids (p<0.05). Conclusion Elevated serum ictp levels in patients with coronary heart disease can indicate the instability of atherosclerotic plaques, are related to mmp-2 levels, and can be used as a predictor of non-invasive acs.
