Abstract
Collagen is an important extracellular matrix component, accounting for about 1/3 of the total protein in the human body. There are at least 12 types of collagen that have been identified. Each type of collagen has certain molecular configuration, gene location and tissue distribution characteristics. The extraction and purification of collagen are necessary steps for collagen immunohistochemistry research. This article refers to relevant foreign literature and makes appropriate improvements, and successfully extracts type ¢ñ, ¢ó and ¢ô collagen from human placenta.
