In-Situ Construction And Characterization Of Collagen Nano-Ultrathin Films On Biomaterial Surfaces

Abstract
Electrostatic layer-by-layer self-assembly technology was used to construct a nanometer ultra-thin film mainly composed of type I collagen (COL). The thickness of this type of film has a linear relationship with the number of coating layers. Through the “spraying” method, a collagen film structure with controllable thickness can be formed in situ on the surface of biodegradable polyester materials without any physical and chemical treatment, improving the hydrophilicity of the polyester materials. In mouse fibroblast (L 929) culture experiments, polylactic acid (PLA) surface loaded with multi-layer films showed good cell biocompatibility and was conducive to cell growth and spreading.
