Abstract
The kinetics of batch and fed-batch cultures of recombinant human collagen-producing Escherichia coli (e.coli) were studied. By detecting the substrate concentration, bacterial volume and product concentration during the fermentation process, a set of kinetic models reflecting fermentation were established, and the influence of the presence of non-engineered bacteria was taken into account to analyze the effects of cell growth, substrate consumption, and generation of genetically engineered products. process, and the results show that the kinetic model can fit the fermentation process well.
