Abstract
Using collagen hydrolyzate extracted from tannery waste as the raw material and isocyanate-terminated polyurethane prepolymer as the cross-linking agent, 5 is synthesized by controlling the ratio of the amount of amino groups in the collagen hydrolyzate to the isocyanate group in the polyurethane prepolymer. The performance and structure of wood adhesives with different formulas were tested through FTIR, XRD, TGA, GPC, solid content, water resistance and other measurement methods. The results show that the polyurethane prepolymer successfully modified collagen hydrolyzate. The relative molecular weight of the modified adhesive increased significantly, the crystallinity decreased significantly, and the thermal stability significantly improved. When amino groups and isocyanate-based substances When the quantity ratio is 1:1, it has the best water resistance and the wet shear strength can reach 1.08 MPa (¡Ý0.7 MPa), which meets the use requirements of Class III plywood in the GB/T9846.3-2004 standard; and when When n (-NH2): n (-NCO) = 1:1, the adhesive has the best stability and its solid content is also the highest, reaching 38.16%.
