Abstract
By simulating the formation mechanism of natural bone biomineralization and material self-assembly in vitro, the bone-like hydroxyapatite/collagen biomimetic composite material was prepared and characterized. The results show that nano-hydroxyapatite is evenly distributed on the collagen matrix and arranged in preferred orientations. The composition and microstructure of the composite material are similar to natural bone.
