Abstract
The regenerated cellulose membrane (RC) was partially oxidized with sodium periodate to obtain a 2, 3-dialdehyde cellulose membrane with aldehyde groups (DARC, aldehyde group content: 6.11%), and then the collagen was removed through Schiff base reaction. It was fixed on the DARC film to prepare a DARC-Col composite dressing. SEM results showed that the DARC-Col composite dressing had a porous network structure. The material has good mechanical properties (tensile strength 78.09 MPa, elongation at break 9.59%), swelling performance (182%), moisture permeability (703.72 g/m2?d) and water retention (20%). Experimental results on NIH-3T3 mouse fibroblasts show that the material can effectively promote cell growth and proliferation and has great potential as an ideal wound dressing for wound repair treatment.
