Preparation Of Collagen-Modified Bioactive Glass/Polycaprolactone Porous Bone Repair Materials

Abstract
Combining the particle leaching-solvent evaporation method, a bioactive glass (BG)/polycaprolactone (PCL) porous bone repair composite material using collagen as the pore wall modification was prepared. SEM, FTIR, XRD, plasma atomic emission spectrometer and pH meter were used to analyze the material’s porous and pore wall morphology, mineralization activity, ion concentration in the mineralization solution, pH changes, etc., using the specific gravity method and weighing method. The effect of collagen on the porosity and water absorption rate of porous materials was studied with a heavy method. The results show that collagen successfully adheres to the pore wall of the porous material, effectively improving the hydrophilicity, mineralization activity and degradation performance of the BG/PCL composite material. Its porosity and water absorption rate are as high as 96.400%¡À0.018% and 13.65 respectively. ¡À1.65.
