Abstract
The preparation of biomimetic composite scaffolds using tissue engineering strategies is an emerging method for repairing bone tissue defects. In this study, a new biomimetic composite scaffold was prepared by mixing cross-linked bioactive glass, collagen and phosphoserine. The scaffold has the same characteristics as natural Similar components to bone tissue. In vitro experiments show that the composite scaffold is mineralized in the culture medium without MC3T3-E1 cells to produce octahedral crystals. The mineralization products during the co-culture with the composite scaffold and cells have different morphology and composition. Consistent. This octahedral crystal eventually evolved into plate-like hydroxyapatite. The extracellular matrix-like components of the scaffold have a significant regulatory effect on mineralization. In vivo animal experiments confirmed that the composite scaffold has excellent bone repair properties.
