Abstract
Bioactive glass was prepared using sol-gel technology, and then combined with gelatin and collagen to prepare a bioactive glass/gelatin/collagen composite scaffold. Mechanical properties research shows that the compressive strength of the composite stent when the deformation amount is 50% is 5.97 MPa; after amination modification of the bioactive glass, the compressive strength of the prepared composite stent when the deformation amount is 50% increases slightly (6.15 MPa ). Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy showed that amide bonds were formed between amination-modified bioglass, gelatin, and collagen, which enhanced the structural stability of the composite scaffold. The bioactive glass/gelatin/collagen composite scaffold was placed in simulated body fluids for mineralization. Under a scanning electron microscope, it was observed that hydroxyapatite was formed on the surface, and as the mineralization time increased, the generated hydroxyapatite particles Gradually increase. After the bioactive glass/gelatin/collagen composite scaffold was degraded in phosphate buffer saline (PBS) for 28 days, its mass remained at 25.25%, while the mass of the aminated modified bioactive glass/gelatin/collagen composite scaffold remained at 32.96%, indicating that Amination modification can improve the interfacial compatibility between the inorganic phase and the organic phase, thereby improving the structural stability of the composite scaffold. Cytotoxicity studies have shown that the reaction levels of amination-modified bioactive glass/gelatin/collagen composite scaffolds and bioactive glass/gelatin/collagen composite scaffolds are level 0 or level 1, which can meet the requirements of biomedical materials. Aminated bioactive glass/gelatin/collagen composite scaffold is expected to be used in bone tissue engineering repair
