Abstract
Abstract Collagen was extracted from pig skin by pepsin degradation method and determined to be type I collagen by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). Infrared and ultraviolet spectra showed that there were three types of collagen in the collagen molecules. Helical structure. The effects of guanidine hydrochloride concentration and action time on the rheology of type I collagen system were studied using small-amplitude oscillatory shear method, constant shear rate method and hysteresis loop method. The study showed that with the increase of guanidine hydrochloride concentration and With the prolongation of the action time, the guanidine hydrochloride/collagen dispersion system gradually approaches from a pseudoplastic fluid to a Newtonian fluid. Within the studied guanidine hydrochloride concentration range (0~6.0 mol/L), the thixotropic type of the guanidine hydrochloride/collagen dispersion system changes with the As the concentration of guanidine hydrochloride increases, the transition from positive thixotropy to complex thixotropy to negative thixotropy occurs; with the extension of the action time of guanidine hydrochloride (6~48h), the thixotropic type of the collagen dispersion system with a guanidine hydrochloride concentration of 1.0 mol/L The transition from compound thixotropy to negative thixotropy occurs. The research results of this article help to deepen the understanding of the mechanism of thixotropy.
