Abstract
rotational rheometer was used to study the steady-state rheological properties of collagen solution, and the effects of changes in concentration and temperature on the flow curve of collagen solution were discussed. Experimental data show that the shear viscosity of collagen solutions decreases with increasing shear rate, indicating that collagen solutions have obvious pseudoplasticity. At the same shear rate, as the temperature increases, the shear viscosity of the collagen solution decreases; as the concentration increases, the shear viscosity of the collagen solution increases. The power law equation, Carreau equation and Cross equation are used to mathematically fit the experimental data curve of the collagen solution. The results show that the power law equation, Carreau equation and Cross equation can accurately describe the flow curve of collagen. The viscosity index of the power law equation is Changes in K and the non-Newtonian index n can accurately reflect the changes in collagen pseudoplasticity; the Carreau equation and the Cross equation have more parameters than the power law equation. Compared with the power law equation, the fitted curves are in better agreement with the experimental data. . However, under the conditions of this experiment, the zero shear viscosity and infinite shear viscosity predicted by the Carreau equation and the Cross equation are inaccurate.
