Study On Bioactive Modification Of Ptfe Surface And Its Adhesion To Endothelial Cells

Abstract
Using low-temperature plasma technology to activate polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), carboxyl groups are introduced on the surface, and then two bioactive molecules, collagen and heparin, are modified on the surface of the material through covalent bonds to construct a biological model that mimics the extracellular matrix (ECM). Activation interface. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and contact angle results confirmed that the PTFE surface was successfully modified. Platelet and cell adhesion experiments show that the ECM-like microenvironment can significantly reduce the adhesion and activation of platelets on the material surface, and can effectively promote the adhesion and growth of endothelial cells on the material surface. Compared with the material before modification, its cell adhesion rate can be increased nearly 10 times, and the material has good blood compatibility.
