Study On The Preparation Of Mesoporous Tio2 Fibers Using Collagen Fibers As Templates And Their Photocatalytic Activity

Abstract
Using collagen fiber as the template and titanium sulfate as the titanium source, Ti(IV) undergoes a coordination reaction with the collagen fiber, is loaded on the collagen fiber, and is calcined to remove the collagen fiber template to obtain TiO2 fibers with mesoporous structure. The surface structure, pore structure and crystal structure of the prepared TiO2 fiber were characterized by analytical means such as field emission scanning electron microscopy, N2 adsorption-desorption, small-angle XRD diffraction, wide-angle XRD diffraction, and molecular fluorescence spectroscopy. Experimental results show that the mass ratio of titanium sulfate to collagen fibers and the calcination temperature significantly affect the surface morphology and pore structure of TiO2 fibers. When the mass ratio of titanium sulfate to collagen fibers is 8:5 and the calcination temperature is 600¡ãC, the prepared TiO2 fibers can relatively completely retain the morphology and ordered mesoporous structure of natural collagen fibers, and the pore size distribution is concentrated at 4.3 nm. The photocatalytic degradation experiment of acid orange II shows that the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 fiber with mesoporous structure is significantly higher than that of Degussa P25 without mesoporous structure.
