Abstract
Glutaraldehyde was used as a cross-linking agent to cross-link and modify tilapia phosphorus collagen. Study the effect of cross-linking agent on the water resistance and mechanical properties of tilapia scale collagen membrane. The collagen film was characterized by detecting the tensile strength, elongation at break, water resistance, water absorption, water contact angle and other indicators of the modified collagen film. The results show that the factors affecting the mechanical properties of the collagen film are in the order of pH value > temperature > glutaraldehyde amount; the factors affecting the water resistance of the collagen film are in the order of glutaraldehyde amount > pH value > temperature; when the added amount of glutaraldehyde is 8 %, the pH value is 2.9, and the heating temperature is 40¡ãC, the mechanical and water-resistant comprehensive properties of the collagen film are optimal, with a tensile strength of 31.32 MPa, an elongation at break of 65.24%, and a water resistance of 34.85%. The contact angle is 120.24¡ã
