Abstract
Purpose: To observe changes in serum levels of hyaluronic acid (HA), type III procollagen peptide (PIIINP), laminin (LN) and type IV collagen (collagen IV, CIV) in patients with liver cirrhosis. To explore the relationship between its changes and liver fibrosis and the degree of fibrosis. Methods: Serum samples of 204 patients with liver disease sent to our center from January 2011 to September 2012 were analyzed. Among the 204 patients with liver disease, there were 124 males and 80 females, aged 26 to 67 years old, with an average age of 48 years; 44 cases were mild, 50 were moderate, and 31 were severe chronic hepatitis, and 79 were post-hepatitis cirrhosis. The normal control group consisted of 46 patients, 25 males and 21 females, aged 22 to 52 years old, with an average age of 38 years. They were health workers of our center and subjects undergoing physical examination, and had no history of hepatobiliary disease. HA, P¢óNP, LN, and C¢ô levels were detected using a gamma radiation immunocounter. The differences between each liver disease group and the normal control group and the level changes between each group were analyzed. Results: The serum levels of HA, P¢óNP, LN, and CIV in each liver disease group were higher than those in the normal control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.01); and they gradually increased with the development of the disease, with the highest increase in HA. obvious. Conclusion: By monitoring the serum levels of HA, P¢óNP, LN and C¢ô in patients with hepatitis and cirrhosis, the liver fibrosis and degree of fibrosis in patients can be observed, and this can be used as one of the indicators for observing the efficacy of patients after treatment. .
