The Structure Of Cotton Fiber After Collagen Coating
Keywords
Abstract
In order to further develop functional fiber materials and new cellulose-based materials, sodium periodate was used to perform local limited selective oxidation of cotton fibers, and then reacted with collagen solution to prepare collagen-coated cotton fibers. Analysis of the micromorphology and aggregation structure after collagen coating treatment, and the changes in the microstructure of cotton fibers after collagen coating treatment were studied. Analysis shows that: an imine structure is formed between collagen molecules and oxidized cotton fibers; the crystallinity of limited oxidized cotton fibers does not change significantly after collagen coating treatment, and its thermal stability is improved.
