Abstract
In today’s era of information globalization and economic integration, global culture is increasingly integrated. As a bridge of cross-cultural communication, translation not only conveys language information, but also conveys cultural information. From a completely new perspective, the translation process is defined as the process of meme variation, and the target language memes are defined as “variant memes”. Through analysis, it is concluded that “variant memes” also include strong memes and weak memes. reasons, and gives a new definition of powerful memes in “variant memes”.
