Two-Photon Microscopy Image Texture Analysis Of Skin Hypertrophic Scar Tissue

Abstract
Based on the pathological characteristics of skin hypertrophic scar tissue, the edge direction, collagen fiber density distribution, and elastic fiber geometric shape were extracted from two-photon microscopy images of the extracellular interstitial components¡ªcollagen fibers and elastic fibers. These features were analyzed using algorithms such as mean-shift, and finally a judgment formula was proposed by combining them. This formula was used to statistically analyze 118 two-photon microscopic images of skin hypertrophic scar tissue, and the judgment error rate was 5.1%. The analysis results show that the proposed texture features and analysis method can effectively determine whether the skin is scarred, and provide a basis for accurately locating the boundaries of skin scars in clinical surgical plastic surgery treatment of skin scars.
